Although New Zealand has such a small population (just over 3.5 million) most people live in town and cities, and only 15% in rural area.  This is truly a destination where you can get away from rush of daily life.  Touring in a motorhome is the perfect choice – the freedom to come and go at your own pace could not be better experience than in New Zealand.  There are campsites throughout both islands but the relaxed and friendly attitude of local people means that you can often find an isolated located and just park on the side of the road or in a car park next to a pristine lake.  Wild camping in New Zealand is a great way to relax and enjoy the outstanding beauty of this country.
